The course has been developed to provide an industry inclusive training program that is not system specific and has no sales agenda and has been partnered with key industry suppliers.The training included on site workshops and practical sessions, types of liner, resin and curing methods along with a session on localised patch repairs. The course is recognised for the registration of learners on the EUSR database & the NADC Drainage Operatives Registration Scheme.We welcome visitors to our training courses whether they be UK based or international, newcomers to CIPP techniques or experienced engineers just looking to improve and learn new skills.We offer refresher training or a 2-day foundation course and can tailor the course content to suit specific needs.Please contact sean@drainage-support.com for more information http://drainage-support.com/news/international-cipp-foundation-course-training http://drainage-support.com/news/international-cipp-foundation-course-training Wed, 02 Nov 2016 15:28:55 +0000 Many drainage contractors are often faced with a pipe repair or renovation where traditional methods of lining or patching cannot be applied. There are many reasons for this, from access issues to multiple bends, diameter changes to time and costs.Pipe Coating is one possibility often overlooked and certainly not widely available in the UK until now.We are now able to include a Pipe Coating system to our ever increasing range of pipe repair and renovation services.Using a specially designed 2-part resin, pump and delivery system coupled with the appropriate diameter brushes the system can be used in all pipe materials, PVC, clay, concrete and cast iron in diameters 32mm to 150mm, and can coat vertical and horizontal pipes.It can negotiate bends and diameter changes and can cope with temperatures ranging between -40 to +120 degrees centigrade giving a life expectancy of between 30 to 50 years.The resin is brushed rather than sprayed giving a uniformed finish of between 2 to 4mm depending on the diameter of the pipe and the number of coats applied.As this is a brush coating system there is no need to use cutters to reopen lateral connections.ER Technical can now offer our valued customers yet another service when it comes to pipe repairs and another option for tricky projects where normal solutions cannot be applied. It can also be combined with other techniques from our portfolio.By Tracing lines and carrying out topographical surveys combined with internal assessment, 3D mapping and accurate measurement of chambers without the need to enter a confined space, a full picture is available for assessment and risk management..Our latest addition 3D mappingis a practical and cost effective solution for pipes, sewers and ducts up to 200 meters in length. Using a combination ofrate-gyros, together with odometers and an inclinometer. The device is inserted in the pipe at a manhole or any access point, and pulled or pushed along the pipe to be mapped. The positions of the access points is established independently with precision, normally by GPS, and the resulting map is based on these points.
